Commonly used as a thickening agent for sauces, fruit pie fillings, stir-fry sauces, glazes and puddings. (Use half as much as flour). To thicken sauces or gravies: Use 1-2 tsp. (dissolved in cool water) per cup. Drizzle arrowroot-water mixture over juices when cooking and stir over medium heat until slightly thickened.
